isnt Israel pretty much always under a security threat just based on its neighbors and situation?

always better to err on the side of caution,(might want to check out b. bhuto), however this could also be israel's way of keeping blair out of the picture. it take it this was a private trip, or else why couldn't britain provide security. may also suggest how important to britain the gaza strip is.
