Ever since the professors of "Communications" started teaching their students that, in order to get noticed by the "major players" a reporter needed an "angle," straight facts went out the window and "spin" begun." When people major in "Communications" to be a reporter and state their reason as "I want to make a 'difference,' then you know that things won't be neutral.

Enoch....I know and that sucks.
We used to turn on the news to see what was going on in the world.

Well, now when we get the news, we have to double check on the internet or snopes to see if it is true. My God, the world just seems to be in a hell of a mess!

The media long ago secumed to the profit motive and have been no more than a tool of conservatives offering up entertainment and hyperbole in place of news. The 40's was the last time the media could call itself Liberal in any significant sense. The idea that we have a liberal media today comes to us from the corporate controlled media itself.

The so called liberal media is a lot more fair than the right wing media. The liberal media does give everyone a chance to speak their mind unlike shows like FOX news or Limbaugh/Hannity that will hang up on anyone that disagrees with them. I listen to enough of both of these idiots to hear them do it all the time. You just can't argue with them. It's their show and they do hang up on people daily. They don't want to hear the other side. MSNBC is the best station we have. All shows listen to the other side.

Most newspapers and TV stations and magazines are insanely far-left-wing-liberal promoters. I only trust Fox News - fair and balanced it is.
