We need to distinguish between character and character assasination. One highlights facts about your opponent and the other demonizes your opponent. It's OK to questions ones character but to try to make him into a boggy man is wrong.

Temper with mccain and his dirty jokes makes a difference to me... and obama has a few inexperience questions that can be used in ads.
Why not?

Impossible not to look at all aspects of any candidate... education for an example..
Barack at the top of his law class at Havard..
Big Mac as bottow of his naval class..

Is it wrong to finally have a smart president?

Well, we have seen Obama's character....even though the media won't 'vet' Obama.....Character of rev. wRight G-d Damn AMerica, his love of his friends, terrorist Bill Ayers, Farakhan, REzko, and his campaign staff who is the hostess of the Hotel where Ahmadinejad will be staying while he comes here and trashes America and endorses his Muslim Brother, Obama.

If the candidate is a chronic alcoholic I would appreciate being informed about that, in the amazingly off chance that I did not pick up on it. Other than that, I think it is unneccessary.
