I HAD TO LAUGH WHEN ONE OF THE PEOPLE ON UNEMPLOYMENT SAID THAT THEY PAID THE MONEY INTO THE SYSTEM SO THEY WERE ENTITLED TO GET IT BACK. THE EMPLOYERS PAY UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE NOT THE WORKERS.

I can't believe our governor. This is not the time to decide to overhaul the esc. Thousands of people are depending on these checks. My husband and I are one of them. My husband has never been layed off until Nov. of this year. He is desperately seeking work. Maybe our governor needs to bring jobs to SC so we don't need unemployment checks. He has had many years to do this and he wants it now .This is not exceptable! I am a republican but if our gov. does this I will never ever vote for another republican. This is just wrong. Americans have suffered enough because these politicians have ruined this country . I think if he was able to run for office this would not be an issue. Someone please put the people first. We have bailed out everyone else why not ourselves.
