I'm in tune to abundance thinking. over 6 billion people on this earth. You dont think theres intelligent people out there who are passionate about earthquake science ? would you rather force them to take up other fields of medicine? Theres enough smart people out there, and the scientist who made the news, who predicted this quake, I hope some people track him down and investigate his methods deeper

Sure, I think we have the tools and knowledge to, but we have so many other things to spend our money and time on...how about cancer cures or feeding the hungry. Earthquakes are going to happen no matter what, we can't prevent them but we can work towards preventing diseases and hungry human beings.
