Children should go to school in their own neighborhood, with kids that live in the neighborhood. I pay taxes for this. Integration doesn't work. There has been talk about this for years. It was even tried. It doesn't work, and I would not let my children be bused to somewhere else. I would pay for Catholic schools before I would allow this to happen. Maybe even home schooled.

Well stated Lin. I completely agree that children should be allowed to attend their neighborhood schools...it is frustrating to hear the stories of those who are forced to have their children bussed to another school, sometimes an hour or more away.
