Obama by so much!

This is one of the polls that expose the conservative trolls on here for sure.

Palin fell aprt in the Couric interview.

My god! Hannity fed her the answers and she still couldn't answer.

Being able to see Siberia from Nome does not give one foreign policy experience!

Obama by far! While Obama was out making a difference in his community, palin was an anchorwoman. While palin was supporting a bridge to nowhere, Obama was amking a differnce in the senate.

Learn about Obama and his ties to a company called "Acorn". The company was formed to bully mortgage companies to get minorities (that would other wise not qualify for the loan) loans with no closing cost, no down payments, and very low interest rates. This is liberalism at its best (or worst). Now there are thousands of loans that are in default or very close to being in default. Fannie May and Freddie Mack had over 50% of there portfolio in these types of loans. So it's no mystery why these companies and many more went out of business because of the corrupt and unfair liberal practices.
Obama, Chris Dood and Biden are on the top of the list for money from the lobbyist from these companies. They did all this corruption to look good to minorities and and get there votes. This is absolute bullshit and corrupt that Obama/Biden were involved. I hope the FBI's investigation will uncover all of the names involved, but I'm sure Obama will get another free pass.
There is a aid (in spanish) that Obama is showing all over the country that has bold face lies in it, but the media has given Obama a free pass on that one too.
While in Irag Obama spoke with Iragi leaders and was trying to get them to agree to not ask for any US troop withdraws until after the election was done. Amazing!!! and of course the media didn't report that either.

Well Guys it goes like this. Obama has none, and Palin has some. See, SOME experience is better than NO experience.

Legislator= votes on issues along party lines in conjunction with multiple other legislators (no real decision making involved and diffused accountability there).

Mayor= Executive position with single say power in many issues. Similar to President but on a greatly reduced scale.

Governor= Executive position with many similarities to the President. Commands State National Gaurd. Runs and staffs cabinet positions. Makes unilateral decisions concerning policy.

Y'all should take a polisci class sometime. Then mabey you would be able to grasp these basic concepts.

wait wait...Obama voted "present" as opposed to yes or no 130 times and he voted over a 100 times to raise taxes...none to lower taxes. Now there's his experience. Sounds like a good leader to me.
There's proof out now that while Obama was in Irag he spoke with iragi leaders and tried to get them to wait on asking for troops to be withdrawn until after the elections. Why would he do this? maybe he wants the limelight instead of bush getting it....now thats down right cruel. Putting our troops lives on the line so he can look better. Sounds like a good leader to me.

LOL Scott. Palin was mayor of a city of six to seven thousand. That is a TINY city. My town is near 500,000 and it's not even considered that big.

Then she ran for governor and won only because her opponent was brought up on criminal charges, and she's been in the office for only 20 months.

You guys can't seriously that naive. She got her passport last year, took one short trip to a US military base in the middle east and came immediately back.

She got a bachelor's degree from University of Idaho for a degree in journalism.

Obama got a degree in political science at Columbia University and a degree in consitutional law at Harvard. He was also peer elected into the presidency of the Harvard law review.

All Sarah Palin has done since being named VP is lie, lie, lie. You know the Republicans are just looking to find two dumbass people to get voted into office under the image currently being painted by the media. After that, the neo-cons will take over the presidency and do the same fucking shit they've done for the past fifteen years.

I'm starting to be with Jeremiah Wright. With people thinking the way they are... god damn america.

Palin has no experience in Washington, McCain is 72 years old and has had cancer 4 times, would you let a hockey mom run your country with her only true experience being in a state with one of the lowest populations, yet they are the most dependant on earmarks from the federal government.

It seems that the Palins operate a fishing boat and own a snowmobile business while the husband was also employed on the North Slope. Was the position as mayor a full time position? I live in a small town, but bigger than Wasilla, and we only have a part time mayor. He meets with the town council and can yea or nea what they decide for the town, he talks to disgruntled citizens on the phone and has his photo made at all the ribbon cutting ceremonies. But he also has other employment. Believe me, it's not like being the mayor of NYC, Chicago or LA. We're talking very small town America!

"served for seven years in the Illinois state Senate, where I fought for expanding children's health care, providing tax cuts for the working poor and enacting welfare reform. In 2004, I was elected to the U.S. Senate, where I have worked to pass laws securing dangerous weapons and making government more accountable. I have also opposed the Iraq war from the start, and believe that we need to bring our troops home so we can refocus on the wider struggle against terrorism. "

Obama's myspace.... seems more than what Governor Palin has done-- for the state ranking 47th in population-- and mayor for a town smaller than most metropolitan areas!

what about being Governor of a state....why is everyone trying to prove that see has no experience by siting her being mayor only....maybe it's that they are ill informed or they are purposely trying to lie and mislead people on this site.
Just to let you know...being a Governor of a state (any state) is a very difficult job. BTW - Palin has the highest approval rating of any governor in the US - 80%

Could her approval rating have anything to do with her wanting to increase the dividends that residents receive? There are some who believe the extra money is needed for infrastructure instead. In any case, does that constitute experience? Does her raising the operating budget by 27%? How about lying about her support of the bridge to nowhere or sending a memo to Stevens asking for $200 million in pork? Is that the experience we're looking for?

As governor and mayor she actually had to make concreter decisions that affect the outcome of the state, and actually had to run the state.

What has Obama ever run?

Didn't Obama vote present 130 times. What kind of decision making skills does the man have. He is not really a pillar of decisiveness.

I really think that it is funny that you talk about her taking $28 Million in earmarks, when that is what her state took. You are throwing stones in a glass home with this one. Do you realize that the last I checked, which was months ago, Obama was all ready up to $330 Million in personal earmarks that he personally added to bills. What about the $14 Million that he granted to Resko right around the same time that Obama got the $300,000 discount on his home that he purchased from him? Not a good argument there. You should have checked up on that one a little bit.

Once again you also fail to recognize that the Democrats voted to send us to war as well. We are not stupid. Only the Liberals would be dumb enough to try to blame Bush and Cheney for all of Iraq.

What is it that Newt Gingrich said when he pwned that reporter at the RNC?

"Its (her resume) stronger than Barack Obama's. I don't know why you guys walk around saying this balogna. She has a stronger resume than Obama.

She has been a real mayor, he hasn't. She has been a real governor, he hasn't. She has been in charge of the Alaskan National Guard, he hasn't. She is a whistle blower who has defeated an incumbant mayor. He has never once shown that kind of courage. She is a whistle blower who turned in the chairman of her own party and got him fined 12,000 dollars. I have never seen Obama do one thing like that. She took on the incumbant governor in her own party and beat him and then she beat a former democratic governor in the general election. I don't know of a single thing Obama has done except talk and write, and I'd like you to tell me one thing you think he has done." -Newt Gingrich at the RNC

At the end of that statement the reporter quickly ended the interview and sent it back to the desk. Obama and MSNBC just got pwnd!

The point is not who said it, but what the words were. It is tragic and very narrow minded to write off truths just because they were spoken by a man with whom you disagree the majority of the time.

Sarah Palin has only been on the national stage for a few days now. Your point about her not doing any interviews yet is invalid.

There are fewer people in the entire state of Alaska than there are in most major cities. It ranks 47th in population. Alaska has no state income tax and no state sales tax. The state of Alaska receives most of its revenue from taxes on the oil industry. It is unlike any other American state.

I was refering to Obama's time as a US senator. Nobody with a brain actually considers state legislator to be an actual relevant position when running for President. Mayor and Governor are much more relevent positions than state legislator, and Governor is MUCH more relevent than US senator, pound for pound.

"a whistle blower my a** on who herself?"

After resigning (as Chairman of Alaskan Oil and Gas Commission citing lack of ethics on the part of her Republican collegues), Palin filed a formal complaint against Oil and Gas Conservation Commissioner Randy Ruedrich, also the chair of the state Republican Party, accusing him of doing work for the party on public time and of working closely with a company he was supposed to be regulating. She also filed a complaint against Gregg Renkes, a former Alaska Attorney General, accusing him of having a financial conflict of interest in negotiating a coal exporting trade agreement, while Renkes was the subject of investigation and after records suggesting a possible conflict of interest had been released to the public. Ruedrich and Renkes both resigned and Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.
